To the deceased brigade commander of "Lyut" Maksym Kazban, the title of Hero of Ukraine has been awarded posthumously

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to Maksym Kazban, the commander of the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Lyut,” who recently died in a traffic accident in Donetsk region.

The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

“For personal courage and heroism displayed in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, devoted service to the Ukrainian people, I hereby decree: to confer the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star to Maksym Kazban – police colonel (posthumously),” the decree states.
