A new specialty has appeared in the "youth contract" — drone operator

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has announced the expansion of the "youth contract": the list of specialties now includes training of UAV operators for the Armed Forces, the National Guard, and the State Border Service.

Who is being recruited:

• young men aged 18 to 24

Structure of training:

• 45 days — basic training
• up to 60 days — specialized training
• 14 days — adaptation course

Social guarantees:

• a payment of 1 million UAH in three stages
• mortgage at 0%

Previously, the "youth contract" was used only to staff assault units. The addition of the drone operator specialty is part of a new strategy for combat modernization and attracting youth to service.
