At the front, a police medic with the call sign "Sokil" saved four wounded comrades under fire
On the front line, a tactical medic from the Kyiv Police Rifle Regiment with the call sign "Sokil" saved four wounded comrades. He carried them out from under heavy enemy fire in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the press service of the capital’s police. Currently, all necessary assistance is being provided to the defenders of Ukraine.
"On the front line, many Kyiv police officers are defending Ukraine shoulder to shoulder with the military. They serve in assault brigades of the National Police, participate in the hottest combat operations, conduct assaults, and hold the defence. Among them are tactical medics who save the lives of comrades directly under enemy fire, extract the wounded from shelling, and provide first aid under the most extreme conditions," the report says.
According to the press service, an evacuation vehicle came under heavy enemy fire and was damaged while evacuating police assault unit fighters who were wounded in battles near Toretsk.

Under fire, "Sokil" carried his comrades to the nearest forested area and called for reinforcements. After waiting for an armored transporter, the policeman evacuated his comrades from the strike zone and transported them to a stabilization point—currently, the four evacuees are in the hospital.
"For the displayed heroism and courage, the leadership of the Kyiv police nominated ’Sokil’ for a state award. Under shelling, in smoke and chaos, combat medics continue to save their comrades, remaining an unbreakable support for the fighters on the front line," added the press service.
