Russians complain about a UAV attack on the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov region

In the night leading up to August 21, drones attacked the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery came under attack.

Local residents reported explosions in the area of the plant, and photos and videos of the fire appeared on social media.

As reported by acting governor Yuriy Slyusar, a fire broke out at one of the industrial enterprises in Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov, during the repulsion of a UAV attack; there were no casualties.

The Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery is an oil refining enterprise in the Rostov region (Russia). It is the only operating oil refinery in the Rostov region. The plant specializes in the production of fuel oil, furnace, marine, and diesel fuel, as well as straight-run gasoline.
