In the Kharkiv region, two people were killed and five were injured under Russian shelling

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

"During the past day, 6 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, 2 people were killed, and 5 were injured," Syniehubov wrote.

According to him, a 61-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were killed in Kupyansk, and a 54-year-old man and three women aged 53, 57, and 65 were injured. In the village of Kurhane of the Vilkhuvatka community, a 62-year-old woman was injured.

The official noted that the enemy actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region, including dropping one guided bomb and launching one "Molniya" type UAV and two of undetermined types.

As a result of enemy attacks in the region, civilian infrastructure objects were damaged and destroyed. In particular, a private house and two outbuildings in the village of Prudyanka in the Kharkiv district were damaged. In the Kupyansk district, an outbuilding in the village of Prykolotne was damaged, and in the village of Nyzhche Solone in the Izium district, a private house was damaged.

Over the past day, 143 combat encounters were recorded in the region. In the Southern Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attempted eight times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near the settlements of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and toward Kolodiazne.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were eight enemy attacks yesterday. The defence forces repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of Kindrashivka, Myrne, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove.
