SSO of the AFU repelled the assault of the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhya direction, destroying the Russian assault troops

It is noted that in the Zaporizhzhya direction, during an attempt by Russians to storm the positions of the Defence Forces, a group of snipers from the 144th SOF center was carrying out a combat mission.

While staying at the positions of an adjacent unit, the snipers observed a massive attack by the Russians on one segment of the defence - the Russian occupiers employed infantry, drones, and artillery. The enemy managed to penetrate deep into the positions of the Defence Forces.

Seeing the situation, the sniper group counterattacked the Russians, armed with grenades, machine guns, and assault rifles. The special forces not only stopped the enemy’s advance but also cleared the trenches of Russian assault troops.

"Thanks to the professionalism of the special forces and coordinated actions, the enemy’s assault was repelled," the report added.
