In the first 8 months of this year, the Russians have lost over 290,000 military personnel killed and wounded.

This was reported by President Zelenskyy.

«We have thoroughly analyzed the situation in the Zaporizhzhya direction and the intentions of the occupiers. Also the situation on the Sumy border and in the Kharkiv region. We will continue our active actions exactly as needed to protect Ukraine. Forces and means are prepared. We have also planned new deep strikes (strikes deep into Russia)», — the president reported following the briefing by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi.
