"Putin will be disappointed": Ukrainian soldier talks about the situation in Chasiv Yar
The military officer reported that the Russians have completely changed their tactics.
The Russians have not yet taken control of Chasiv Yar, despite recent statements by Russian President Putin during a meeting with the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Lukashenko. This was stated by the legendary scout of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, "Kep," while commenting on the situation in Chasiv Yar. The corresponding video was published on the YouTube channel of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
According to Kep, he was surprised that during the meeting with Lukashenko, Putin announced the capture of Chasiv Yar once again.
"Chasiv Yar is not just one 9-story building, but a vast territory with both private sectors and apartment buildings. I want to disappoint Vladimir Vladimirovich: Chasiv Yar, to his deep conviction and regardless of what he has been told, has not yet been fully captured. Chasiv Yar is under the control of the Armed Forces. Why? Because prisoners are still coming from there, some captured during combat, others who got lost, went the wrong way, and surrendered because they wanted to survive—there are many like that. And our fighters are currently in Chasiv Yar," the scout emphasized.
In addition, the military officer shared that the Russians have completely changed their tactics.
"There are significantly more of them than us. They keep appearing, there are more of them than us, and they change their movements. Previously, this was done using some light-armored, armored, or unarmored vehicles, but now they are moving on foot from the direction of Bakhmut, one or two soldiers at a time. They try to establish positions in certain areas, then build up forces for future offensive actions. They are given tasks, and they head toward our positions for assaults, but due to the large number of drones we have, they are stopped and repelled even before they reach our positions—for example, with drops, FPV drones, they are simply stopped," the military officer noted.
It should be added that "Kep" has been at war since 2018. He was a police officer but chose to fight as a regular soldier. Over seven years, he has witnessed how the war has changed, has been behind the front line dozens of times, has been wounded, and has destroyed the enemy.
