Zelenskyy proposed a joint program with allies for the production of interceptor drones

Ukraine offers allies to join a new program for financing, manufacturing, and developing interceptor drones against enemy strike unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a briefing with the leader of Finland, Alexander Stubb.

"Ukraine proposes a joint program for financing, manufacturing, and developing interceptor drones to all European neighboring countries – our neighbors and Russia’s neighbors," Zelenskyy noted.

According to him, thanks to production during the war, Ukraine has become a leader in this field.

"We need to approach this as quickly as possible so that bureaucratic processes do not interfere; we are open to this cooperation," added the President of Ukraine.

The head of state also emphasized that no one in the world has enough missiles to shoot down all types of drones. A missile costing a million, no matter how advanced, cannot shoot down drones that cost tens of thousands of dollars, or even 100 thousand dollars.
