The Ukrainian Defence Forces, together with partisans, discovered and destroyed a command center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region. Among the 18 killed, two lieutenant colonels were identified.
One of the deceased high-ranking officers of the Russian Armed Forces is Lieutenant Colonel Dmitriy Pashabekov. This was reported by Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoliy Shtefan, known by the call sign "Shtirlitz," on his Telegram channel. It was established that the incident occurred on August 30, when it was first reported by Petro Andryushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation.
Shtefan’s message appeared online on the morning of September 12. The officer published a photograph of the Russian lieutenant colonel who died in Zaporizhzhya regionand reminded of the surname of another lieutenant colonel whose death was reported two weeks earlier. Both officers of the Russian Armed Forces were at the command post that was blown up on August 30, according to Andryushchenko’s statement. According to preliminary data, two lieutenant colonels were killed — Dmitriy Pashabekov and Ruslan Shigabutdinov.

Andriushchenko wrote about the attack on the Russian command post on September 1. It became known that the incident occurred on August 30 — an explosion took place in the occupied settlement of Voskresenka. It is noted that this was a successful special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate (DIU) and the Mariupol Resistance, who jointly destroyed the location with Russian military personnel: the exact method — whether by drone, explosive, or missile — is not specified. According to the official’s data, a total of 18 Russians may have been killed — 17 officers and one soldier. The deceased were military personnel of the 35th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces.
"All the perpetrators are safe. The officers were managing an offensive on one of the sectors of the Zaporizhzhya direction. Now there will be no offensive," the note states.
The exact coordinates of the attack are 47.43636, 36.38773, as noted by Andryushchenko. A screenshot of the NASA FIRMS fire map is also provided, with the ignition site marked in red.

On the combat map of the DeepState project, one can find the location where the command post of the Russian Armed Forces was destroyed on August 30. It is evident that the Russians were positioned 20 km from the line of contact on the Hulyaipole direction.
