"Yellow Ribbon" created a website-counter for the boycott of elections in Sevastopol
On September 12, the "Yellow Ribbon" movement announced that it had launched the "SevasIgnore" counter website, which will track how the residents of occupied Sevastopol ignore the fake governor elections.
As stated in the "Yellow Ribbon" Telegram, on the website, residents of Sevastopol can choose the "Ignore" option and, if they wish, leave an anonymous comment.
The message is immediately deleted, but the vote is saved in the overall counter — alongside thousands of others who boycott the fake elections and await Ukraine’s return, the post says.
"Let’s show together how many Crimeans refused to participate in this farce and demonstrate the real stance of people under occupation," the activists added.
At the time of publication, 19,648 people had ignored the "elections" in Sevastopol — this is the number displayed by the counter.
Currently, occupied Sevastopol is led by Mikhail Razvozhaev (since 2020). He is also participating in the current "elections." Apart from Razvozhaev, four other collaborators are running for the position of the "head" of Sevastopol — Ilya Zhuravlev, Sergey Kruglov, Gennady Kushnir, and Irina Salina.
