In the Dobropillya direction, Ukrainian assault units are conducting one of the most successful operations in recent months. The enemy attempts to advance, but our units cut off reinforcement routes and cover them with crossfire.

This was reported on September 12 by the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ assault units, Valentyn Manko, on Telegram.

According to him, in two weeks, they achieved what recently seemed impossible: through the efforts of the 33rd and 425th Assault Regiments, in coordination with the 1st Assault Regiment, the 24th and 25th Assault Battalions, as well as the 79th and 82nd Air Assault Brigades, the enemy found themselves in operational, and in some places, tactical encirclement. On the map, three large "pockets" are already clearly visible.

"The Russians have deployed their most capable units here, including special forces, to prevent the encirclement from closing. However, even elite units could not stop the pressure of the Ukrainian assault units. The fighting is intense, with ongoing clashes, but the loss ratio clearly favors Ukraine: on average, 1 to 5. Unable to withstand the offensive, the occupiers are starting to surrender," Manko notes.
