The minimum wage in Ukraine will increase to 8,647 hryvnias starting from 2026
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the draft budget for 2026, according to which the minimum wage is planned to be set at 8,647 hryvnias, which is 647 hryvnias more than in 2025.
This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The minimum wage from January 1, 2026, is planned to be 8,647 hryvnias, - Zheleznyak reported.
The minimum wage in 2025 remains at the level of 8,000 UAH, but the increase in personal income taxes and military levy will lead to a reduction in the amount received "in hand."
The minimum wage is an indicator that underlies many calculations, rates, and taxes. The minimum wage amount is used to calculate the maximum amount of daily allowances for business trips within Ukraine, compensation for health damage, payment for additional days off, amounts for sick leave and maternity leave, and more.
