The AFU are creating a trap for the occupiers at the Dobropillya salient, – Belskyi

The occupiers have really fallen into a certain trap at the Dobropillya salient.

This was reported by Oleksiy Belskyi, the spokesperson for the Dnipro operational-strategic group of troops.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to "cut" the Dobropillya salient into parts.

"In principle, this is succeeding. In the upper part of the salient - the village of Kucheriv Yar - there are extremely fierce battles. The Russians could have retreated from there, but they were ordered to stand to the death. And in the area of Kucheriv Yar, they have the worst positions. They are being supplied with ammunition and food using drones," Belskyi explained.

The spokesperson for the Dnipro operational-strategic group mentioned that the Ukrainian forces are also attacking near the settlement of Mayak and the village of Nykanorivka.

"And recently, the 225th assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Pankivka and is now trying to ’cut through’ (logistics). So, a second conditional ’cauldron’ is possible. And below, our forces are hitting - that’s the hardest part. This is the conditional line of the villages of Razina-Novotroitske. They are also trying to ’cut’ the base of the Dobropillya salient," he added.
