The situation on the front: The AFU repelled 79 enemy attacks in all directions of the front

Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line amounts to 79. The defence forces are holding back the assaults of the Russian army across the entire front line.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The invaders continue to strike border settlements. Areas of the settlements of Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region; Khodyne, Bachivsk, Znob-Trubchevska, Studenok, Simeikine, Vyntorivka in the Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery fire.

In the Northern-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, there have been four engagements since the start of the day, one of which is ongoing. Additionally, the enemy carried out eight air strikes, dropping 25 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 100 shellings of our forces’ positions and settlements, including three attacks using multiple rocket launchers.

In the Southern-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions five times in the areas of Vovchansk, Novovasylivka, and Kamyanka. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions from the beginning of the day.

In the Lyman direction, the aggressor attacked nine times today in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Shandryholove, Torske, and in the direction of Novyi Mir, Drobysheve. Five engagements are currently ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Hryhorivka, Yampil, and Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the defence forces repelled four enemy attacks towards the settlements of Bondarne, Minkivka, and Orikhovo-Vasylivka. 

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked our forces’ positions in the areas of Shcherbivka, Pleschiyivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka. The defence forces have repelled 11 enemy attacks, and three more attacks are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions 19 times today in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetske, Myroliubivka, Novopavlivka, Lysivka, Kotaline, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykhailivka, and Filiia. Battles are continuing in three locations.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Zelena Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Vorone, Sosnivka, Novomykhailivka, and Novohryhorivka. Three more engagements are ongoing as of now.

In the Huliaipole direction, four engagements were recorded in the area of the settlement of Poltavka. The settlement of Hirke suffered an airstrike.

In the Orikhiv direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack towards Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovske direction, Ukrainian units repelled three enemy attacks.

No signs of formation of enemy assault groups have been detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
