RF used hypersonic missiles and hundreds of UAVs against Ukraine’s critical infrastructure
Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted a massive air and space operation against Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure.
According to preliminary estimates, the attack involved approximately 700 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), supplemented by up to fifty cruise missiles and, likely, two hypersonic "Kinzhal" systems.
The primary targets were energy hubs located in Odesa, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, and Khmelnytskyi regions, as well as in the Zaporizhzhya area.
Lviv experienced particularly intense attacks: about 25 powerful detonations were recorded. Reports indicate the emergence of large fire outbreaks, resulting in a significant part of the city being left without electricity. According to unconfirmed data, strikes were also aimed at railway sorting hubs and military warehouses near the local airport.
In the Sumy region, the attack was focused on railway infrastructure facilities.
According to information from open sources, Burshtynska TPP in Ivano-Frankivsk region and Ladyzhynska TPP in Vinnytsia region were also targeted.
