The Defence Forces of Ukraine struck strategic targets of the RF in the Volgograd region

According to Ukrainian military data, on the night of October 9, the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit the Korobkov Gas Processing Plant and the "Yefimovka" Linear Production Dispatcher Station in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation.

The Korobkov Gas Processing Plant, located in Kotovo in the Volgograd region, is one of the largest plants for the primary processing of natural and associated petroleum gas in southern Russia, with a design capacity of 450 million m³ of natural and associated gas per year and 186 thousand tons of wide fraction light hydrocarbons per year.

The "Yefimovka" LPDS is a station that serves several main pipelines for transporting oil and petroleum products in the region, with a throughput capacity of 50 million tons per year.

Explosions and a fire were recorded on the territory of both enterprises, and information on the consequences of the impacts is being clarified.

"The Defence Forces of Ukraine consistently carry out measures aimed at undermining the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation in order to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.
