The occupiers struck the energy infrastructure of Donetsk region: the area is without power, trains are at a standstill

As a result of morning shelling, Donetsk region has been left without electricity. Russian forces deliberately struck the region’s energy infrastructure.

This was reported in a statement by Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

The head of the RMA explained that the Donetsk region has been de-energized due to enemy shelling.

"This morning, the Russians once again deliberately targeted our energy infrastructure," he noted.

According to Filashkin, specialists have already started repair work and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. However, the full extent of the damage and the timeline for restoration are yet to be determined.

"In the meantime, Invincibility Points are operating in the region, providing heat, electricity, and internet. I will provide updates as they become available," he added.
