"Mobilize 16–18-year-olds": The Armed Forces of Ukraine propose creating a "parallel army" for long-term training

Ukraine needs to create a «parallel army», where recruitment should start at the age of 16.

This was stated by the commander of the reconnaissance unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Denys Yaroslavskyi.

«Now it is already necessary to mobilize 16–18-year-olds and prepare them for war: it takes 5 years to properly train an assault soldier,» Yaroslavskyi emphasized.

He believes that such an army would be «more effective» than the current one.
