The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold positions on key fronts — Zelenskyy announces new actions on the frontline

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding positions on the Pokrovsk and Kupyansk directions, as well as in Kharkiv and Sumy regions and in Zaporizhzhya. The defense forces are preparing new actions on the front and continue to strike Russian military and energy facilities in the rear.

This was reported with reference to the statement by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President reported that today he listened to reports from the military and the Security Service.

"The situation on the front, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction, in neighboring areas, as well as in Kupiansk, in the border areas of Kharkiv and Sumy regions, and in Zaporizhzhya region. We maintain control, and I am grateful to each of our units for their resilience. We are preparing some of our actions on the front and responding to the Russians for every strike they deliver," he said.

At the same time, Zelenskyy noted that he discussed issues, including the range of action, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"We are increasing both the range and the accuracy of our long-range sanctions against Russia. In fact, almost every day or two, there are precise strikes on Russian oil refineries. And this helps bring Russia back to reality," the President explained.

Zelenskyy also highlighted the achievements of the warriors over these weeks from:

• the 13th Brigade of Operational Assignment of the National Guard,
• the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade.

"Both brigades are destroying the occupier in the Kupyansk direction. Also, there are results in the same area from the 127th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, units of the Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Military Law Enforcement Service. Thank you all, warriors!" summarized the head of Ukraine.
