Joint operation on the left bank: Ukrainian defenders detected and destroyed Russian SAM "Osa"

In Kherson region, Ukrainian warriors destroyed an enemy anti-aircraft missile system "Osa."

This was reported on Facebook by the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy, along with a video of the operation.

«Thanks to the joint efforts of operators from the 426th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy and the NGU unit Lasar’s Group, the "Osa" air defence system was detected and destroyed,» the statement said.

As reported, despite the enemy’s attempts to conceal their equipment, pilots of the 426th Separate Battalion located the target and provided guidance, after which fighters from Lasar’s Group successfully destroyed the installation.

In the fall of 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, including Kherson. Part of the region on the left bank of the Dnipro River remains temporarily occupied by Russian forces. At the same time, Ukrainian units continue to hold their positions there.
