Oleksiy Takhtay has become the new deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Earlier, Takhtay held the position of Director of the Department of Financial Support and Accounting.

Oleksiy Takhtay has become the new Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs under Arsen Avakov. This was reported to journalists by the representative of the parliamentary faction "Bloc of Petro Poroshenko," Serhiy Kaplin.

"Regarding Oleksiy Takhtay, my colleagues who are members of parliament and I will be conducting a thorough analysis of his past, and tomorrow he will work (in the position of Avakov’s deputy – ed.)," Kaplin stated.

It is worth noting that earlier, Takhtay held the position of Director of the Department of Financial Support and Accounting.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed Takhtay’s appointment to RBK-Ukraine.

Recall that yesterday, May 13, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Serhiy Chebotar, resigned. Today, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the resignation at its meeting.
