"A blood clot broke off": emerged details of the sudden death of the son of Putin’s closest advisor
The son of Rusnafta CEO Ihor Sechyn, Ivan, died in a mansion on Smaragdova Street in the Europe-1 cottage community (Zeleny Viter SNT) in Krasnohorsk. The security called an ambulance, but gave an inaccurate address. As a result, the doctors drove for almost two hours, by which time the man had died.
On 3 January, the son of Rosnafta’s CEO turned 35. The last place he stayed was in a house in the Zeleny Viter housing estate near Krasnohorsk. Around 04.30 on the night of 5 February, 35-year-old Ivan complained that he was feeling sick and was suffocating. The man fell on the bed and lost consciousness. His family moved Ivan to the floor and tried to perform initial resuscitation. At the same time, Ivan Sechyn’s bodyguard called an ambulance, though he did not specify which SNT the house was in. In the snow, the medical team wandered around Krasnogorsk until 6am, visiting three SNTs. When the ambulance arrived, the doctors could only pronounce Ivan dead.
His relatives told the doctors that Ivan Sechin only had hypertension. He was taking some medication prescribed by a doctor, but had not sought medical attention in recent months.
It is worth noting that everything related to Ivan was carefully classified. He lived in a house in the Moscow region, hiding in all official databases, marked as "Russian Federation". The ambulance was called for Yevhen Panin, and it was under this name that he was registered in the death documents.
A Russian media source said that the official cause of death of 35-year-old Ivan Sechyn, the son of Rosneft CEO Ihor Sechyn, was a "broken blood clot".
At the same time, Sechyn prohibited employees of the Investigative Committee, FSS and other security forces from dealing with issues of Ivan’s death. This was dealt with by the Rosnafta Security Service, consisting of former FSS and Investigative Committee employees personally loyal to Sechyn. These “security people” are prone to various “conspiracy theories” and conspiracy theories.
On the third day after his death, Ivan Sechyn was buried.

As his wife explained, in the middle of the night the husband complained of pain, deciding that what was happening was related to his kidneys. The security was instructed to buy the drug "Canephron" and after about half an hour the employee returned to the house of the state corporation employee with the medicine. Ivan Sechyn called his wife into his room and asked her to pour him some water and give him a pill. The woman went to the bathroom to get water, and when she returned, her husband was already lying motionless. The owner immediately called the security guard on the radio.
As explained in his numerous explanations to the Security Service of Ihor Sechyn, bodyguard Yevhen Panin (this is how Ivan Sechyn was written in all posthumous documents for the sake of secrecy), from the moment he returned from the pharmacy until Ivan Sechyn’s wife called for help, about 20 minutes passed.
When he entered the boss’s room, he no longer had a pulse and was not breathing. The security guard claimed that he had dictated the correct address to the 112 dispatcher - Zeleny Viter 2, and that the information was transmitted to the substation without a number. The ambulance crew’s application simply stated the Zeleny Viter SNT, which caused a delay of about one and a half to two hours.
As soon as the paramedics entered the house and saw the lifeless body of Ivan Sechyn, they asked the security guard to stop, who was trying to pump out the boss to the last. Ivan was dead. As a result, the experts concluded that the cause of death was a blood clot that had broken off.
Whether Ihor Sechyn believed this version is a mystery. What is known is that he forbade any official investigation and instructed the Rosnafta Security Service to look into the matter.
