Occupants entered Ivanivske: Ukrainian Armed Forces comment on the situation

Fighting continues in Ivanivske, Donetsk region. Russian occupants have entered the village, are trying to storm it, conduct frontal attacks, and bypass the village.

The commander of the battalion-tactical group of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard, Serhiy Sidorin, spoke about this on air at the national telethon.

He emphasized that the Defence Forces are also located in Ivanivske.

“The line of contact is quite dynamic, positions change hands. But for Russia to control it in full, there is no such thing,” the defender emphasized.

Let us remind you that the head of the press service of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsya" Illya Yevlash said that the situation in the Bakhmut direction remains tense, and fierce fighting continues there. The troops of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation are pressing from the flanks and launching frontal attacks near the villages of Ivanovskoye and Bogdanivka. The main goal of the enemy is to capture the city of Chasiv Yar.

Next, the invaders plan to develop an offensive against Konstantynivka, and later on the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk agglomeration from the southern flank.

The mayor of Chasiv Yar, Serhiy Chaus, called on residents of the Chasiv Yar community in Donetsk Oblast to evacuate due to the situation at the frontline. The distance from Chasiv Yar to the contact line is approximately 5 kilometres.

“There’s no more time,” Chaus said.
