Former head of Chernivtsi customs Mykhailo Tovt, who was dismissed from his post, is "eager to work" again
The story of corrupt customs officers returning to their posts through the court is already turning into a joke.
The Ministry of Finance will have to create a separate customs office for the updated managers, since their number exceeds the number of positions many times over.
So let’s call it: “Customs by the court of proven honest customs officers.”
This time, Mykhailo Tovt, the ex-chief of Chernivtsi customs, who was dismissed from his post, is “eager to get to work.”
Only in December 2023 was he fired for systemic smuggling, but he disagrees and defends his good name.
It is interesting that Tovt’s interests are also represented in court by ex-customs officer, lawyer Oleh Zudinov, who worked in the legal department of the State Customs Service.
Tovt’s interest in Chernivtsi is understandable, since today it is among the TOP-3 customs offices in terms of schematosis volume.
The money is there, all you need is a court decision.
By the way, Mykola Salahor, who was detained yesterday by NABU, was also reinstated in his position through the court.
But didn’t make it.
