Situation at the front: 31 attacks of the invaders were repulsed in the Avdiivka direction

This is the seven hundred and ninety-ninth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state. During the day, 106 military clashes were recorded.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Shelling of Ukraine

In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 58 air strikes, carried out 89 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The situation in the north

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. It carried out air strikes near the settlements of Krasny Khutor in Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda in Sumy region; Dergachi, Liptsi and Rublenne in Kharkiv region. More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya in Chernihiv region; Yastrubyne, Oleksandrivka, Volfyne, Vodolahy, Velyka Pysarivka and Stepok in Sumy region.

Fighting in the east

In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled 9 attacks in the vicinity of Sinkivka, Novoyehorivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkivka, Petropavlivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled 12 attacks in the areas of Hrekivka, Nevske and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka and Torske in Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling hit more than 10 localities, including Makiivka in Luhansk region and Terny and Torske in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled 19 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnekamianske, Rozdolivka, Vyymka, Spirne, Novyi, Klishchiyivka and Ivanivske, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation. The enemy also conducted an air strike near Druzhba, Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 31 attacks in the areas of Arkhangelskoye, Sokol, Semenivka, Umanskoye, Kalynove, Yasnobrodivka, Netaylovo and Pervomayskoye in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy tried to force our units out of their positions. The enemy also carried out air strikes near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka and Novoselivka Persha in Donetsk region. About 20 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Arkhangelske, Novopokrovske and Sokil in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Kostyantynivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defences of our troops 13 times. The enemy launched air strikes near the village of Vodiane in Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.

Combat actions in the South

In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy made one attack on the positions of our defenders near Robotyno, Zaporizhzhya region. It carried out air strikes near the settlements of Vremivka and Staromayorske in Donetsk region; Pyatikhatky in Zaporizhzhya region. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Bilohirya, Robotyne, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, it made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near the village of Krynky in Kherson region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Chervonyi Mayak, Olhivka, Tyahynyka, Ivanivka, Tokarivka, Novotyahynyka, Kizomys in Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Strikes at the enemy

During the day, Defence Forces aviation carried out strikes on 9 areas where personnel were concentrated and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system.

The missile force units hit 2 enemy ammunition depots, 1 artillery system and 1 anti-aircraft missile system.
