The United States announced an aid package to Ukraine worth almost $300 million

"The United States announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $275 million. It includes ammunition for HIMARS, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, TOW, Javelin and AT-4 missiles, precision aircraft munitions, small arms, ammunition and much more,” Yarysh said in a post on the social network.

The US Department of Defense officially announced the allocation of a new aid package.

"This package, which is part of our efforts to help Ukraine repel the Russian offensive near Kharkov, is valued at $275 million. It will provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to meet its most pressing battlefield needs," the US department said in a statement.

According to the Pentagon, the military assistance package included:

• ammunition for HIMARS;
• 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells;
• 60mm mortar mines;
• optically tracked wire-guided (TOW) missiles;
• Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
• precision aircraft munitions;
• small arms and additional small arms ammunition and grenades;
• demolition ammunition;
• anti-tank mines;
• tactical vehicles for equipment recovery;
• helmets, body armor and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear protection;
• spare parts, maintenance and other auxiliary equipment.
