The invaders struck near Kharkiv: the head of the district department of the State Emergency Service and a policeman were killed

According to preliminary information, five railway workers were injured:

• driver,
• station manager,
• station duty officer,
• senior track foreman,
• train assembler.

“Three railway workers with shrapnel wounds and concussion were hospitalized, two more received medical assistance on the spot. The damaged carriages, which were caused by an enemy attack, were quickly localized,” the company reported.

Syniehubov said that two people died during the attack. Among them is the head of the Kharkiv regional department of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, Artem Kostyrya.

“A total of 22 people were injured - 16 men and 6 women aged from 14 to 81 years. Two people are in serious condition, 13 are in moderate condition, others are in mild condition,” noted the head of the RMA.

He emphasized that the enemy deliberately launched two strikes with an interval of half an hour, when all relevant services were already in place.

In addition, law enforcement officials reported that as a result of the attack, the police response sector of the Kharkov regional police department, senior police sergeant Oleksiy Koshchei, was killed.

“This is not the first time that Russia has attacked emergency services when they are rescuing civilians. For every such crime there will be responsibility and an answer – in the courts and on the battlefield,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.
