Ukraine will prepare a peace plan for the second Summit - Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the peace plan would be ready in November. He added that the second peace summit should include representatives of Russia.

The head of state spoke about this at a meeting with journalists, where OBOZ.UA editor-in-chief Lesya Gasich was present. According to him, the first meeting at the level of ministers and security advisers following the peace summit is likely to take place in Qatar soon.

“At the end of July - beginning of August there will be the first meeting at the level of ministers, security advisers to conclude our peace summit. The first meeting will most likely be in Qatar, this is on energy security. And a plan on energy security will be fully prepared there,” - said the president.

Zelenskyy added that a meeting will be held in Turkey in August dedicated to free navigation and food security, at which a comprehensive action plan will also be determined.

In addition, a meeting is planned in Canada for the exchange of prisoners and children in September, where a plan will also be developed.

According to Zelenskyy, if these three stages are successfully completed, an action plan with all 10 aspects of the peace formula will be ready.

“We set the goal that in November we will have a fully prepared plan,” Zelenskyy said, adding that then “everything will be ready for the second Peace Summit” and “Russian representatives should be at the second Summit.”

Zelenskyy also emphasized that other countries of the world can join the Peace Summit with their proposals, which will help attract third countries to it, except for Ukraine’s allies in the EU and NATO.
