Ukrainian banks began issuing interest-free loans for solar panels

The preferential lending program for private households began operating on July 20.

As noted in the press service, home owners can receive financing at 0% for the purchase of equipment and installation of solar panels with energy storage systems and wind turbines in their households.

The government decree stipulates that the interest rate on such loans will be fully compensated within 10 years. The loan amount can be up to 480 thousand hryvnia for the purchase and installation of a hybrid power supply system.

Credit products for citizens are already available in such banks as: PrivatBank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank and Globus.

At the same time, banks can adjust the terms of the program. For example, PrivatBank lends to individuals under this program for a period of 5 years. Loan terms from each bank are available on their websites.
