An energy industry source said that at a nuclear power plant substation, oil tanks in two high-voltage transformers exploded due to overheating due to heat.
At the same time, this interlocutor pays tribute to the workers of Energoatom: during the day they promptly eliminated the consequences of the accident.
The source estimates the scale of the accident to be three to four points on a scale of ten and calls it a “technically ordinary situation.”
