Oleksiy Brecht was appointed as the acting head of "Ukrenergo"

This decision was made by the company’s supervisory board.

According to the press service, Brecht has been working at "Ukrenergo" for 23 years, and in the energy sector overall for 25 years. In the last two years, he has held the position of board member and was responsible for the operation, restoration, and development of the transmission system network.

«The main task for today is to continue the preparation for the heating season and the restoration of facilities that were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. "Ukrenergo" plays a key role in the Ukrainian energy system, so ensuring its reliable operation within the European network ENTSO-E is our top priority», said Brecht.
