Lyashko made a statement about his possible resignation from the Ministry of Health

The Minister of Health Lyashko, who was openly criticized by the President yesterday, made it clear that he does not intend to resign.

In his evening address, the President said that he had heard "very unconvincing reports" concerning corruption in the Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) and the fictitious disabilities of officials from the Minister of Health Lyashko and Minister of Social Policy Zholnovych.

Today, Lyashko, responding to a question about a possible resignation, stated that the heads of the Medical and Social Expert Commissions are not under his jurisdiction.

"Writing a resignation letter is easier than reforming the institution," said the Minister.

According to him, they plan to liquidate the central MSEC by the end of the week.
