The explosions occurred around 04:40. At that time, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat of kamikaze drone strikes for the Mykolaiv region, and an air raid alert was sounding in the area.

"Residential sector. According to preliminary information, there are injured individuals. I remind you that the air raid alert is not yet over!" said the mayor of Mykolaiv.

The head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported that emergency services have been dispatched to the scene, and assistance is being provided to the people.
