In Toretsk, the situation is very difficult, - servicemen

Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign «Alex» reports that over the past week, the Russian army has increased pressure on the flanks of Toretsk, especially in the Zabalka area, where, according to him, the Russians have «achieved relatively significant success and advancement».

«In Toretsk, the situation remains difficult as well. The enemy has identified two key resistance points that they are trying to attack: the "Central" and "Toretsk" mines», – informs the military personnel with the call sign «Mucnyi».

According to him, «assaults in these areas are not being conducted yet, but it is important to understand that the loss of these mines and mounds will lead to adverse consequences in terms of defence and further control over the remnants of the city».

The challenging situation in Toretsk is also noted by serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov. He writes that the Russians are currently «making every effort to gain control over the heights in the city center».

«This would provide them with the opportunity for fire control, a dominant position for aerial reconnaissance and strike UAVs», – explains Bunyatov.
