In the Kursk region, Ukrainian paratroopers captured a group of occupiers
Ukrainian defenders continue to actively replenish the exchange fund with Russian military personnel. This time, in the Kursk region, soldiers of the 80th Air Assault Brigade managed to capture 11 invaders.
The corresponding video was published by the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram. The Russian military was captured during one of the unsuccessful assaults.
"The 80th Air Assault Brigade once again continues to replenish the exchange fund by capturing Russian soldiers. During one of the enemy’s unsuccessful assaults, Lviv paratroopers destroyed the invaders, some fled, and those who survived and hid were captured by the Galician Brigade unit," the statement reads.

The video tells the story of the fighters, former prisoners, who signed a contract and ended up as part of the 11th Air Assault Brigade of the Russian army. They were tasked with capturing a settlement controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where Russian civilians also reside.
Poorly trained and poorly equipped former prisoners were sent to their deaths, used as cannon fodder, while the command fled immediately after the battle began. Meeting with Ukrainian paratroopers, the enemy decided to surrender, thus saving their lives.
