Russia maintains two "Kalibr" carriers in the Black Sea, - Ukrainian Navy
The Russian Federation is once again deploying its missile carriers in the Black Sea. This poses potential missile threats to Ukraine.
This information is reported by the Ukrainian Navy.
As of 06:00 on December 5, two enemy ships were detected in the Black Sea. Both are equipped with "Kalibr" cruise missiles, with a maximum salvo of up to 12 missiles.
At the same time, there are still no Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov. Six enemy ships have been detected in the Mediterranean Sea, four of which are "Kalibr" carriers with a total salvo of up to 41 missiles.
Additionally, the military noted that in the interests of the Russian Federation, the Kerch Strait was traversed in the past day:
- to the Black Sea - 0 vessels, consequently, 0 continued towards the Bosphorus;
- to the Sea of Azov - 7 vessels, of which 4 continued the journey from the Bosphorus Strait.
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) of 1974 by turning off automatic identification systems," the Ukrainian Navy concluded.
