Politicians with pro-Russian views who are still active in Ukraine have begun active political preparation for the upcoming elections. In TikTok, MP Yuriy Boyko has become more active, along with Lana Shevchuk, a host from the now-banned in Ukraine TV channel "Nash".

Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Yuriy Boyko, a notable figure of the banned party "Opposition Platform – For Life" (OPFL), has launched his TikTok account, which is typically used by representatives of the younger generation. Boyko, who represents Generation X – those born after World War II – opened his account on November 27, following Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections.

As of December 9, his account hosts ten videos, and he already has about 1,500 followers. Remarkably, these videos are gaining tens of thousands of views.Boyko has become active on TikTok dqxikeidqxiqdzant

Currently, Boyko’s TikTok offers two main types of content: short addresses from the Verkhovna Rada about parliamentary activities and excerpts from Russian-language interviews with Lana Shevchuk.

Lana Shevchuk is known for her previous role as a host on Medvedchuk’s NEWSONE channel and her participation in the now-banned YouTube channel "Vyshka", which was created based on the pro-Russian channel "Nash".

The revival of the banned channel "Vyshka" was previously reported by "Holka". Following an appeal by a civic initiative to the head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Freedom of Speech Committee, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, the YouTube channel "Vyshka" was eventually closed.

In August 2024, a new YouTube channel titled "LANA TUT" was opened, where content from Lana Shevchuk began to appear. In one of the videos, Shevchuk notes that although the studio is new, the core principles on which her content is based remain unchanged.

Lana Shevchuk created a new YouTube channel

The channel’s most active commentators are Vadym Karasyov (around 40 videos), as well as Hennadiy Dubov and Andriy Palchevskyi, each appearing in about 10 videos.

It is worth noting that Karasyov and Dubov were identified in the Texty.org database as pseudo-sociologists and covert public relations specialists. Karasyov’s profile indicates his presence on channels associated with Viktor Medvedchuk as a "political expert" who promoted the "Opposition Platform – For Life" party and criticized its competitors.

In a recent investigation by Bihus.Info, it was revealed that political analyst Hennadiy Dubov was among several TV experts who "were paid for positive coverage of blogger Anatoliy Shariy’s activities", who is currently charged with state treason. The investigation also showed that Dubov was paid for favorable mentions of Shariy’s party during various broadcasts.

Another person of interest in the analysis is Andriy Palchevskyi, who unsuccessfully ran for Kyiv City Council and mayor in 2020. Palchevskyi is known for calling the full-scale war a "special operation", blaming the situation on Western countries – a narrative repeated by the aggressor country itself.

Dmytro Spivak was also a frequent guest on the banned "Vyshka" and was identified in the database of pseudo-sociologists and covert PR specialists on the Texty.org website. Therefore, it is understandable why Lana Shevchuk invited him to her YouTube channel.

Among the guests on the "LANA TUT!" channel was lawyer Rostyslav Kravets, whose Telegram channel is allegedly part of a Kremlin-supported network that undermines judicial reform and the integrity of the judicial system in Ukraine.

Kravets is also known for representing the interests of Vyacheslav Bohuslayev, former head of "Motor Sich", who is accused of state treason related to possible servicing of enemy aviation.

In addition to these controversial connections, Kravets is accused of creating an information environment that negatively affects the mobilization efforts carried out in the country.

Oleksiy Shevchuk, a former lawyer of Illya Kyva, also showed activity by starting an advertising campaign in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, where he previously ran for city council.

All this suggests that individuals with pro-Russian views are actively preparing for upcoming elections and strategically developing their support.
