In Ukraine, the "Ruta" missile was successfully tested

A rocket called "Ruta" was successfully tested in Ukraine. It can reach speeds from 500 to 800 km/h.

This was reported by Defense Express.

According to the publication, "Ruta" is a product in the form of a cruise missile or drone with a Ukrainian name, and is actually a public development of the startup Destinus.

Despite limited data on the technical characteristics of "Ruta," it is a jet drone with a flight range of 300 km. It can perform strike and reconnaissance missions or serve as a target for training. However, the company later published quite detailed images of its products on its website, including this "drone," which resembles a traditional cruise missile.

"Moreover, a design diagram was presented, showing all the main components of ’Ruta’ - the warhead, fixed wing, fuel tank, electronics unit, and compact turbojet engine," the publication notes.
