During the audit, the Accounting Chamber identified a number of financial violations at the TV channel "Rada"

The Accounting Chamber has published a report on the audit of property and procurement of the Verkhovna Rada for the years 2020–2023, revealing some violations at the "Rada" TV channel.

“The company "Kinokit," associated with former Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko, received contracts worth over 250 million UAH for creating content for the "Rada" TV channel without competition. Additionally, state institutions do not have documents for permanent use rights for four land plots totaling 126,000 square meters, and enterprises and institutions that support the work of the Verkhovna Rada do not have rights to 33 real estate objects,” the statement says.

In analyzing the situation, the Accounting Chamber found that a significant portion of the equipment of the state enterprise "Rada" TV channel is outdated and requires an upgrade. Due to the lack of modern equipment, the parliamentary TV channel signed agreements for media product production with LLC "Kinokit" for a total of 276 million UAH. Some contracts may have been concluded without competition due to a lack of standard provisions on artistic competitions.

“In 2021–2022, the "Rada" TV channel provided its property for free use. A similar situation occurred with the State Enterprise "Dining Room" of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada in 2020–2023. According to the calculations of the auditors of the Accounting Chamber, this resulted in losses of 4.8 million UAH for the state,” the auditors noted.

These two state structures also had violations during the procurement of goods and services.

After the publication of the material by the "Chesno" Movement, the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada stated that no violations were found during artistic competitions, and the delay in publishing reports did not lead to financial losses.

As of December 18, the report has not yet been published on the website of the Accounting Chamber.
