According to the commander, the worst-case scenario for Chasiv Yar is similar to the situation in other cities that the occupiers strive to capture. However, the city is being held, and Russian forces cannot advance there.

The military officer explained that the worst-case scenario involves the encirclement of some units.

«This could even lead to the loss of the city of Chasiv Yar itself. In the long run, an advance along the road to Kostyantynivka is possible,» he noted.
