Drones attacked the location point of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade in the Krasnodar region

On the night of January 10, explosions were heard in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian defence forces’ drones attacked the permanent location of the 238th artillery brigade of the Russian army.

It is also reported about the consequences of the attack on the nearby military airfield. Local public pages write about this, reports "Crimean Wind".

"Ukrainian drones attacked the permanent location of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade of the Russian Federation in Korenevsk, Krasnodar region. It is also reported in public pages that there is a military airfield nearby, which was also shelled. Officially, only the downing of two UAVs was reported, but they remain silent about the strike on the location," the message states.

Little is known about the consequences of the attack for the occupiers at the moment.

Local residents published many videos online showing a drone flying (a characteristic buzzing is heard in the footage), followed by a loud explosion and a blaze at the location. The author of one of the videos claims it hit the artillery brigade directly.

At least one of the videos also features sounds similar to detonation.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed the "destruction" of 40 Ukrainian drones, supposedly shooting down only two over Kuban.

"16 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Rostov region, four UAVs each over the territories of the Kursk and Voronezh regions, three UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region, two over the territory of the Krasnodar region, one over the territory of the Belgorod region, and ten over the Sea of Azov," the so-called Russian defence department stated.
