The court allowed former minister Solskyi, who is suspected of land fraud, to travel abroad
The former head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and participant in a criminal proceeding will leave Ukraine for two weeks.
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted permission to former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mykola Solskyi, for a trip to Germany from January 14 to January 28.
This was reported with reference to the court’s decision.
According to the previously selected preventive measure, Solskyi was not allowed to leave the boundaries of Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission and was required to surrender his foreign passports for safekeeping.
Thus, Solskyi’s lawyer appealed to the court for permission to travel abroad for a medical examination and participation in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture in Germany.
"To grant the suspect permission to travel abroad to the Federal Republic of Germany from January 14 to January 28, 2025, inclusive, for a medical examination at the University Medical Center Freiburg and participation in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture in Berlin," the court decision states.
Additionally, the court ordered the State Migration Service to return Solskyi’s foreign passport, and the ex-minister, in turn, must surrender the passport after returning to Ukraine.
