The management of the "Noice" restaurant in Kyiv has banned the service for military personnel: police have initiated proceedings
In the Obolon district of Kyiv, a restaurant called Noice refused to serve a Ukrainian serviceman. According to an employee of the establishment, this is a directive from the management.
The serviceman told this to OBOZ.UA. We reached out to the restaurant’s management for a comment, but as of the time of publication, we have not received one.
According to the serviceman, on Sunday, January 12, at 9:30 PM, he entered the restaurant to have coffee, and security stopped him at the entrance, informing him that the restaurant owner prohibits admitting servicemen.
In the video provided by the defender, you can see the establishment employee confirming in response to a clarifying question that he would not serve the serviceman.
"With all due respect – I was forbidden to serve (the serviceman. – Ed.)," said the restaurant employee and added that this is an order from the management of the Noice restaurant.

The serviceman added that law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, who found that the serviceman was sober and not committing any offenses, and then they left. According to the serviceman, this is not the first instance of such disrespect from the restaurant’s management. Every time servicemen appear, a Turkish citizen named Ayhan Ozdemir calls the Obolonskyi district police and the security police, as he uses the restaurant premises as his own office and conducts meetings there, constantly speaking in Russian.
"The restaurant’s management, in the person of director Ruslan, manager Inna, and co-owner, Turkish citizen Ayhan Ozdemir, showed disrespect to servicemen," the warrior emphasized.
Later, the police reported that they opened a criminal case due to the refusal to serve a serviceman in one of the capital’s restaurants.
"It was preliminarily established that yesterday evening, an employee of the establishment, while communicating with a visitor, a current serviceman, refused service to him. The video regarding this incident was subsequently shared on social media," the law enforcement report states.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine ranging from one thousand to two thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, or probationary supervision for a term of up to five years, or restriction of liberty for the same term.
