The Russian army was unable to establish a foothold in Pokrovsk, plans a blockade, - Dykyi

ATO veteran Yevhen Dykyi commented on rumors about the capture of Pokrovsk, stating that they are not true.

He reported that Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups repeatedly attempted to enter the city, but all their attempts end in elimination. In his opinion, the occupiers avoid assault because the city is large and resembles Bakhmut, which they tried to capture for 10 months, suffering heavy losses.

Dykyi emphasized that the only chance for the Russian army is to bypass Pokrovsk from different sides and block its logistics, making it impossible to deliver ammunition and evacuate the wounded. Currently, the occupiers are advancing from the south, creating a threat to only 1/3 of the logistic routes, but Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to counterattack.
