It has become known whom Zelenskyy will meet in Davos

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, arrived in Davos, Switzerland, on January 21st, where he has a series of important meetings scheduled. It is expected that the head of state will converse with representatives of the high political leadership of several countries – and not only European ones. Among them are the Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and his possible successor Friedrich Merz, as well as the President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa.

Additionally, Zelenskyy’s visit includes meetings with the International Media Council and the founder and president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab. The preliminary schedule of the president’s meetings was announced by his press secretary Serhiy Nykyforov for OBOZ.UA.

According to him, during the visit to Davos, the Ukrainian president is expected to hold bilateral meetings with representatives of the high leadership of several countries worldwide.

Specifically, negotiations are planned with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz, as well as his likely successor in office, the head of the "Christian Democratic Union of Germany" party Friedrich Merz (this party is considered a favorite in the parliamentary elections to be held in this country in February 2025).

Meetings are also expected with several heads of state: Presidents of the Swiss Confederation Karin Keller-Sutter, the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb, and the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa.

The program of Zelenskyy’s visit also includes meetings with the heads of governments of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.

In addition, the Ukrainian president is to meet with the International Media Council (WEF IMC) and the president of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Klaus Schwab.
