Situation on the front: In the last 24 hours, there have been 167 clashes

The Russian occupation army continues its active offensive operations to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and capture new territories. The enemy uses its advantage in manpower and equipment during attacks. The most intensive fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction.

A total of 167 combat clashes were recorded on the front line in one day. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of January 26.

During the day, the enemy inflicted 65 airstrikes and dropped 113 guided bombs on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas. In addition, the enemy carried out over five thousand shellings, including 104 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 1969 kamikaze drones.

Under Russian airstrikes were the areas of the Berislav in the Kherson region and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhya region.

In turn, the rocket forces and artillery of the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck four concentrations of manpower, weapons, military equipment, and one control point of the UAVs of the Russian invaders.

In the Kupyansk direction, nine enemy attacks took place over the day. Defence Forces repelled the enemy’s offensive actions near Petro Pavlovka, Pisne, Hlushkivka, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 26 times. They tried to penetrate our defense near the settlements of Tverdokhlibove, Novosergiivka, Shyikivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, Druzelubivka, Hrekivka, Pershotravneve, Kopanky, and in the directions of Novolyubivka, Makiivka, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy carried out one attack near Verkhnikamyanka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked 33 times in the areas of settlements Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out ten attacks in the area of the Toretsk settlement.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 52 offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Zelene, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly, Kostyantynopilske, and towards Pokrovsk, Vidrodzhennya, and Uspenivka.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the Defence Forces repelled nine enemy attacks. The occupiers were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Novosilka, Novodarivka, Kostyantynopil, and Velyka Novosilka settlements.

The Defence Forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory, successfully repelling two enemy assaults in the Prydniprovsk direction.

In the Orikhiv, Hulyai-Pole, and Kharkiv directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions over the past day.

The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue the operation in the Kursk region. During the day, Russian invaders launched 33 airstrikes, dropped 57 guided bombs, and carried out 292 artillery shellings. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assault actions of the aggressor.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there are no signs of enemy formation of offensive groups.

Our warriors inflict significant losses on the occupiers in manpower, equipment, and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear. In total, the Russian invaders’ losses in the past day amounted to 1720 personnel. Ukrainian warriors also neutralized 9 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 14 artillery systems, 40 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles, and 53 vehicles of the occupiers.
