In the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, a fire broke out at an oil depot after a drone attack
On the night of February 5, explosions were heard in the Krasnodar region of Russia. The Russians complained about an attack by Ukrainian drones.
After that, a fire broke out at an oil depot in the Kanevskyi district, which had not been extinguished by 5 a.m. This was reported by the Russian publication ASTRA.
Even the governor of the region, Venyamin Kondratyev, acknowledged that another oil depot caught fire in the Krasnodar region of Russia after the drone attack. As always, the fire was allegedly the result of a "repelled attack."
"Our military repelled a drone attack by the Kyiv authorities. In the village of Novominskaya in the Kanevskyi district, UAV debris fell on a tank with minor oil product residues. A fire started, assigned a second rank of complexity. Special services are working at the scene. Fifty-five people and 19 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The head of the Kanevsky district controls the situation on-site. According to his reports, the fire has been localized; preliminarily, there are no casualties," wrote Kondratyev.
Local residents reported to journalists that the oil depot hit was LLC "Albashneft." The company’s website states that it is a "dynamically developing enterprise, whose main activity is the production of oil products" and "the only oil refining enterprise in the territory of the Kanevsky district of the Krasnodar region." The design processing capacity is stated to be up to 320,000 tons of hydrocarbon raw materials per year.

As of 05:15 Kyiv time (06:15 Moscow time), the fire had not been extinguished.
A video appeared on the network, which allegedly captured the moment of impact of the UAV "debris."
Interestingly, the Russian Defence Ministry announced on the morning of February 5 the "destruction of four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles": two over the territory of the Kursk region and two over the territory of the Belgorod region.
