In Ukraine, new rules will be developed for TRC regarding the handling of conscripts
In Ukraine, it is planned to develop new rules for Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC) regarding their treatment of military conscripts. These regulations will become mandatory for all military TRCs.
This was reported with reference to the head of the communications department of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vitaliy Sarantsev, in an interview with hromadske.
According to Sarantsev, the new rules for handling military conscripts in the TRCs will be mandatory for everyone. They intend to establish these rules by February.
The military official emphasized that these rules will be communicated to all military TRCs to avoid human rights violations and to prevent escalating tensions in society.
"Unfortunately, negative incidents sometimes occur from the TRCs’ side. However, these do not go unnoticed or unpunished. Investigations are conducted, and appropriate conclusions are drawn. And what does the enemy do? They simply amplify these issues and incite fear," stated Sarantsev.
He also noted that terms like "busification" and "manhunters" should disappear from Ukrainians’ everyday vocabulary because they are part of Russian informational warfare.
"No matter how it sounds now, the term ’Russian informational warfare’ is becoming a meme. However, it all easily becomes part of our language," emphasized the military official.
