Major General Dmytro Krasylnykov, the commander of the Operational Command "North," was dismissed from his position. As he himself reported, the reason for the dismissal was not explained.

This was reported by Suspilne, citing Krasylnykov himself.

The order to dismiss the commander of the OC "North" was signed on March 7. Currently, Krasylnykov is in the reserve battalion.

When asked by a journalist what might be the reason for the dismissal, he replied: "I have my assumptions, but I don’t want to talk about it yet."

The Major General noted that he saw no significant reasons for his dismissal, particularly regarding the situation in the Kursk region.

"My opinion on this issue is that there are no significant reasons for such (dismissal. – ed.). And the events in Kursk... Roughly speaking, I left Kursk back in November (2024. – ed.)," Krasylnykov said.

According to the Major General, Brigadier General Oleksiy Shandar, who was previously the Deputy Commander of the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine, has already been appointed as the new commander of the OC "North."
